Why clinical research?

I enjoy clinical research because it gives me the opportunity to help patients in ways that may not exist in my regular clinical practice. I also find it exciting to be involved in the evaluation and approval process for new medications and treatments.

I’ve been in private practice since 2006 and started clinical research when Dr. Lain founded AICR.

I enjoy spending time with my family, sports with my girls, playing volleyball, going on long walks and hiking around Austin with my family. I also love snow in the winter and sand in the summer — all with my SPF 55-plus sunscreen.
